Have you ever taken a 16 or 20 ounce cup of cold brew to go, or maybe even a tray of drinks back to the office, and thought to yourself "This is great, but I wish there was even MORE cold brew?"  Or maybe you've been on a camping trip, down the shore, or chilling at a friend's house for the weekend, sad to know that you're far far away from one of our shops and the delicious cold brew we've got flowing from kegs?

Well, we've got the solution for you: HubBub Cold Brew in growlers! Yup, that's 64 ounces (about 8 servings!) of fresh, expertly made cold brew, ready to go wherever you want to take it.

Parties? BBQs? Potlucks? Or, imagine being the hero who strolls into a work meeting with one of these babies! The possibilities are endless.

There is so much that we love about the craft beer world, and growlers are a quantity and transportation problem solver that was too good to ignore. Perhaps you've visited a micro brewery that offers growler fills of beer so you can enjoy extra fresh draft bevs at home. Same goes for cold coffee; bottled stuff can be good, sure, but there's nothing like the freshest stuff, poured right from the tap.

How did growlers originate? In the late 1800's, people brought beer back home from their local pubs in small, galvanized pails. Legend has it that the sloshing sound of the beer sounded like growling, thus earning the vessel its name.

That to-go practice waned through Prohibition, but after that law was repealed, people again began toting beer home from pubs or breweries, often in waxed cardboard containers. With the rise of small, independent breweries in the U.S. in the 1980's, glass growlers came into fashion. These jug-shaped vessels allowed even tiny breweries who weren't equipped to can or bottle their wares to encourage customers to take beer home. Now in the beer world, glass growlers are all the rage at breweries, bottle shops and even some bars now, too.

So, anytime we're open, stop by for a growler fill of our Cold Brew Coffee. Bottles are $4 and fills are $20 - once you buy the growler it's yours to keep, and you can refill it for just $20 again and again.

To take it to the next level, we're also offering a cold brew growler subscription program - yes, Philadelphians, that means HubBub's cold brew coffee delivered straight to your doorstep! For more info on this rad option, please head over here. Weekly orders are due by Wednesday evening and deliveries go out on Fridays.

Enjoy, everyone!
